I will be offering Mr. Nate's Summer Piano Day Camp again this summer. The Summer Camp is very popular with my students. There many returnees - the camp was FULL in 2010. It's a really fun way to keep your piano skills over the summer. (Mr. Nate usually didn't practice piano over the summer when he was a kid - until later.) Not only do the students start where we left off in class, but we have the time to do more music worksheets, games and theory for a greater understanding of music. We'll also work with Orff-Schulwerk xylophones and rhythm instruments every day and on the last day hold a recital on piano and xylophones (The Rain Forest Orchestra) with an added special Surprise Performance! I have a DVD of the recital from the 2005 Summer Camp if anyone is interested in checking it out.
